Slavko Nudyk - a vocalist and a tennis player
Slavko was born in Lviv on 7 February, 1968. He first appeared in public on cold and frosty day (-28ºC). His first live performance was given at the age of two on a stool in front of the family. Having recited some rhymes, Slavko realized he really enjoyed the ovation he received and would like to hear it more often in future.
Unlike poetic attempts, his first music lessons don't evoke such pleasant memories. The musical instrument he chose for playing on (it was a kind of accordion) was too big and too heavy for a young gifted boy. So, in order to improve the situation he had to go to the gym or become a member of a choir. Slavko chose the latter.
Later on he successfully entered and finished a music school. The first throes of creation caught him in his personal study, the room he inherited from his grandfather.
Starting from the cold autumn of 1986 and during the next two years future member of vocal formation served in the army of former Soviet Union. Later he worked as a milling-machine operator which he calls an act of penance.
1989 - 1993 were the years of perestroika, proclamation of the independence in Ukraine and its first steps as a sovereign country. Slavko spent this period of time studying at S. Lyudkevych Lviv Music College where he met Volodymyr Yakymets, Andriy Kapral' and Bohdan Bohach. The burning desire to realize his great dream of standing ovation helped him to win at the tennis table championship where the existence of "Pikkardijska Tertsia" was at stake.
Sometimes Slavko combines in his life the things which usually cannot go with each other. For instance, having neither a driving license nor a car Slavko managed to make a program for drivers called "Auto wave". So, Slavko is able to consult any driver on various topics, including the changes in laws or technical comparison of the newest models of cars. At the same time despite "Pikkardijska Tertsia" member has a developing allergy to mathematics his wife is ...a teacher of Maths. Having pedagogical talents and positive attitude to her husband's fans she remarks: "It's OK my husband is famous and adored by other people, but I know he adores me the most!"
Slavko is a happy father of three children: son Roman and twin daughters Solomiya and Yaryna.
